The bihormonal fully closed loop solution

How does the AP® work?

The sensors measure glucose levels

The Inreda AP® uses two sensors to simultaneously measure
blood glucose levels. This ensures safe treatment based on continuously validated measurements. Glucose values are sent wirelessly to the Inreda AP® and used as input for the algorithm.

Self-learning algorithm

The Inreda AP® algorithm continuously responds to changes in blood glucose levels and automatically delivers doses as soon as a change is detected.

Up & down

Additionally, the algorithm continuously adapts to optimize and personalize glucose control.

The Inreda AP® improves the regulation in adults with type 1 diabetes after 1 year of use.1

  • More than 25 minutes per day less in hypoglycaemic values (<3,9 mmol/L) compared to the previous treatment;
  • A 0,9% decrease in HbA1c compared to the previous treatment;
  • More than 97% of the Inreda AP® users achieve
    the recommended combined treatment goal of
    70% time in range and <4% time below range;
  • Inreda AP® users experience a decrease in diabetes distress compared to the previous treatment.
